Man Arrested For Pennsylvania Double Murder

A Susquehanna County man is accused of shooting and killing two other men.

Pennsylvania State Police say one of the victims was found dead on the side of Pine Ayres Road in Great Bend Township Saturday afternoon. After arriving on the scene and determining that the man had been shot, troopers searched the area. They found the second victim on a nearby hill.

Investigators say both shootings were determined to be homicides. One of the victims has been identified as Joshua Rodgers, 30, of New Milford. The second victim, 28-year-old Gilberto Alvarez recently moved to Pennsylvania from Florida for work.

45-year-old Lloyd Richard Thomas of Hallstead was arrested at the scene for the shootings.
