Brooklyn Man Convicted in Binghamton Murder

22-year-old Isaiah Jeremiah of Brooklyn was convicted of murder in Broome County Court on Wednesday.

A jury found Jeremiah guilty of Murder in the First Degree, two counts of Murder in the Second Degree, Robbery, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon. On October 5th, 2010, Jeremiah shot and killed 22-year-old Stephen Mayo during a robbery at Mayo’s apartment at 52 Leroy Street in Binghamton.

Jeremiah remains in the Broome County Jail await sentencing, which is scheduled for June 28th.
