The Floral Park Pool re-opened Thursday afternoon just in time for the end of the heat wave. The kids were more than happy to jump back in. The Broome County Health Department completed its inspection of the Johnson City pool on Wednesday. A chlorine spike on June 10th forced the village to shut down the pool. Village parks staff went through additional training and a safety plan had to be approved.
