A minivan crashed into a storefront in Binghamton Tuesday morning, injuring several people.
Police said an elderly couple was in the van when it hit another car shortly before 10 am; the impact took off the car’s driver side door. The van reportedly lost a front wheel, jumped the curb and hit a pedestrian and crashed into the front of Maryann’s Mart on Court Street in downtown Binghamton.
Four people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say that speed was a factor in the accident.
