The search for a suspect in the Fourth of July homicide in Elmira continues, while family and friends continue to mourn. A memorial was held on Friday where the body of 20-year old Randy Brooks Jr. was found. Police said that just after 7 a.m. on Thursday, the victim was found near a building in the East Gate apartment complex. According to police, the victim died from a gunshot wound. They are asking for anyone with information about the homicide to call them.
