Also in Cortland County this weekend, Cortland PD arrested two people running a Meth lab out of their apartment.
Police initially responded to area of 76 and a half Lincoln Avenue on July 13th for reports of a strong chemical odor. After arriving on the scene, police found ingredients used to manufacture Methamphetamine on a common porch area. On Friday, investigators returned to the location to interview the suspects. While there, police uncovered more evidence.
43-year-old John Rosen and 44-year-old Renee Perfetti were arrested and charged with unlawful possession of Marijuana, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful manufacturing of Methamphetamine. The manufacturing charge is a class D felony.
