Carol Schwartz was my sister. Whe was bright. She had a terrific sense of humor. Art was her thing since she was a little girl and she was very good at it as well. She was also a good teacher and cared about her students. The thing that stands out in my mind is her love of animals and how many animals she rescued and cared for with much love. Her dry wit and care for those around her were her strong suits. I can still hear her laugh in my mind and I still would give anything to have my phone ring and hear Carol’s voice saying “It’s me.” I am sorry for the family of the other young woman that was involved in the accident.
    How very, very sad.

I would have given anything to see her just one more time.

A PERSONAL MESSAGE FOR Sandy Adams:

I have only learned last evening of the deaths of “Kit” and another driver two years ago in Cayuta, NY. She was a best friend throughout all of our college years and somewhat beyond. I am so sorry for you and your family having experienced such a loss. I had been distressed by not having been able to locate her for a long period of time. However my interest in the work of your uncle; Bernard Child had encouraged me inquire of your sister Carol. I had once met your cousin who lived in Washington, D.C. when her father lived in Paris.

I had always prefaced Kit as “the girl with a camera who ran away with the Circus…but came back”. She was such a special person.
Please may I hear from you if you are able.
