Waverly Home Destroyed by Fire

An early Thursday morning fire destroyed a home on Loder Street in Waverly. The family was able to evacuate safely. According to fire officials, the probable cause was an electrical fire in the floor of the house. Firefighters from Wavery-Barton, Sayre, and Athens responded to the 2AM call.
